Labor Day Tradition

This is at least the third year in a row my mom has taken my girls and me to the state fair on Labor Day. We've got it down to a science--arrive as soon as the gates open, tour the "Cow Palace," then be first in line to get the all-you-can-ride bracelets for the midway. My girls are monsters--they want to ride EVERYTHING. Let's just say I think my equilibrium has aged beyond my ability to endure "The Zipper." It took me about 3 hours to feel normal again. (The above is not the Zipper--it is much tamer and the smile on my face is too big.)
